Victim Support urging witnesses to get in touch for support after Woolwich attack

Victim Support recognises people who witnessed the recent attack in Woolwich may be suffering trauma themselves.

If you are 65 or over, living in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington, and have been a victim of crime in the last three months, we’d like you to help with a study to investigate the effects of crime on older people.

Victim Support has been awarded close to £480,000 by the Big Lottery Fund. The money will pay for research, led by the national charity, to find out how prone people with mental health problems are to becoming victims of crime, and how they can be better supported throughout the criminal justice system.
