Tony Foster chairs our Audit Committee
Our Audit Committee looks after the internal and external audit, risk and quality assurance responsibilities and duties of the Board of Trustees. Among other things, the Committee is responsible for Victim Support's corporate risk register and quality assurance processes.

Membership
The Audit Committee usually has five members and is chaired by a member of the Board of Trustees. The Vice Chair is a member of the Assembly. Two members are independent of the charity's governance structure and free of any relationship that, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, would interfere with their ability for independent judgement.
