Supporter members

Victim Support has over four times more volunteers working for the charity than paid employees. So we think it's important to give our volunteers a voice in how our charity is run. To help with that, we created something called 'supporter membership'.

Any volunteer with our charity can be a supporter member - this gives them the right to elect representatives to a national committee, called the Assembly, which represents our volunteers within the charity. The trustees and managers of the charity work with the Assembly to ensure that we learn from our volunteers and take their views into account in how the charity is run.
