The Assembly

Gillian Nussey is the current Chair of our Assembly and also, therefore, on our Board of Trustees
The Assembly was created as part of our restructuring in 2008 to provide a platform for our volunteers to influence the work and policies of our charity. It's made up of elected representatives from our volunteers who can get involved through choosing to become supporter members. The experience and local knowledge of the Assembly is a valuable resource for our Board of Trustees. The Assembly normally meets four times a year.
Together, the Assembly and the Board of Trustees make up the company membership of Victim Support. The company members can vote at our annual general meeting (AGM).
To find out more about the Assembly, read the terms of reference(161 KB).
