Area HR Manager - Victim Support West Midlands - based in Oldbury
Victim Support West Midlands (VSWM) employs around 100 staff in 22 branches throughout the West Midlands. People are central to everything we do here at VSWM and for a HR Generalist passionate about people, this is an outstanding opportunity to develop and improve HR initiatives that will lead to the implementation of best practices.
Reporting to the CEO you will be the lead officer on all HR related issues, you will advise Managers on:
- Recruitment & Selection
- Employee Relations
- Employment Law
- HR Policies andProcedures (in line with organisational needs)
- IIP recognition and retainment
This senior management role will also require involvement and contribution to the overall strategic management of VSWM.
Ideally you will have 3 - 5 years HR management experience preferably in the Voluntary Sector and be:
- A fully CIPD qualified practitioner
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Prioritise workload and deal with competing demands
- Develop new projects and initiatives
You will also need to understand and demonstrate commitment to the aims of Victim Support and to the development of Equal Opportunities.
