Arson is when someone deliberately sets fire to someone else's property to damage it or injure people. There are around 3,500 arson attacks every week in Britain and around one fifth of these are against people's homes.
Arson can have devastating effects - people can die or suffer burns or other injuries. If nobody is hurt, you may still have to cope with enormous financial damage. And if you suffer more than one arson attack, it can have a very negative effect on your life and wellbeing.
It can help to talk through your feelings in confidence with our volunteers. They can also give you information about the criminal justice system and practical help.
